The ability to submit your Stable Pool Money Returns online through the Racing Admin site will be available to you for the next pool money return in May 2020.

How to Submit a Stable Pool Money Return

  • Open the Trainer menu and select Stable Pool Money from the Stable Employees Area
  • Select GO next to the option to submit a new stable pool money return. You are only able to submit one return per period, so if you have already submitted it you will not have the option to do another.
  • All of your employees that were on your Stable Employees Register during the stable pool money period will be listed. Employees that have left your employment during this time will also be listed as they may still be eligible for payment. They are indicated with a date in the End Date column and can still be selected.
  • Select the employees that are eligible to receive pool money during this period. You can select all employees together or each one individually. You can also search for an employee by name.
  • You can also Save the form to come back to later.
  • If an employee isn't listed, you will need to go back and add them to your Stable Employee Register following the normal process. 
  • When you have selected all of the employees, scroll to the bottom and click Continue. 
  • The next screen will show you the amount of pool money to be distributed and you can view the statement of transactions.
  • You must now distribute the pool money amongst the employees in accordance with their distribution agreement. 
  • You can do this by inputting an amount per employee, a percentage, or by splitting it equally amongst all employees
  • If you choose to input an amount or a percentage, it must equal the total amount payable or 100%
  • Again you can Save the form to come back to later.
  • Your return must include a copy of the distribution criteria agreed by your employees. This can be a word document or an image of a written agreement for example. 
  • If this is your first return or the criteria has changed, you must upload a new document. Otherwise, you can select to use the document uploaded previously
  • Click Continue to proceed.
  • On the next screen you can review your return before submitting it, if you need to go back and make any changes, click on the previous step on the tramline. 
  • You must then enter the name of the person that is completing the return.
  • Next select the date that the pool money will be paid to your employees. This must be within 10 to 21 days and you can only select a date within this range.
  • Click Submit.
  • The next screen confirms that your return has been submitted successfully.
  • You are able to print a copy of your return so that it can be displayed on the yard for employees.

How to View a Historic Stable Pool Money Return

  • Open the Trainer menu and select Stable Pool Money from the Stable Employees Area
  • Select GO next to the option to view a historic stable pool money return. 
  • Your previous returns will be listed. Click VIEW next to the return that you would like to access.
  • All of the details of that return will be displayed.
  • You can print a copy of the return by printing from your browser in the usual way. E.g. File+Print, Ctrl+P, Right-click+Print
  • Click the link at the bottom of the page to return to the stable pool money menu.
